How do you feel about Russia or China drilling for oil off the US coast?

If we dont do it.... they may. How do you feel about Russia or China drilling for oil off the US coast?
If it's there and we allow our politicians to prevent us from doing the same,


then it's our loss. We know who we can point fingers to. Some of the damage is to late to fix. By the time, lawmakers act on this and drilling were to start, wells could be dry. How do you feel about Russia or China drilling for oil off the US coast?
I think that we have more right to oil there than they do, for sure. I don't know why Russia would want to spend the money to ship out supplies and equipment to drill off of the US coast when Siberia is very rich in oil. I wish we got more oil from Russia than the middle east, and I would darn sure rather inject the $$$ into the Russian economy than in a region where one minute this country is our friend, the next, our enemy.

BTW : for those that want the off-shore drilling ban lifted that would be the best thing that could happen for you guys !


If China did put a rig up off the Florida coast congress would have to lift the ban.





One more thing, even if we did lift the ban China could still drill in international waters off our coast (as we could do to them) that much will never change..
They have the same right as we do.it is in international waters. i dont like it but it is true.
It doesn't matter if Russia and China were having a peace party on our coast with peace signs and Teddy Bears, I still would not trust them.
Not within the 200 mile territorial limit they won't.
