I know the meaning of acronym TVDSS for measuring well depth from subsea. Sometime BRT is used by drilling co for showing length of well. Can any body explain what BRT stands for?In oil well drilling what BRT stands for?
Below Rotary Table: used as a standard depth datum as it doesn't vary during drilling.
Used in conjuction with depth eg 255m BRT
There are other terms that refer to the same level: deck height, top of BOP well head etc...
