A large area in the Gulf has been set aside for future exploration. It is not protected by any environmental laws. The Gulf states have met and given leases to certain oil companies for drilling and exploration.
I'm fine with the drilling but hope it just helps to lower the price of hybrid and fuel efficient cars.Does anyone know both sides of the oil drilling in the gulf issue?

plenty of oil in the gulf but the lying left keeps making rule changes, so the oil feilds cannot be tapped!!!!
Yeah, the liberals are against it, like always. They'd rather keep depending on foreign oil. It's funny how they don't stop driving THEIR suv's.
