Obama is losing his soul more every day, or maybe just revealing his calculus to win at all costs. First his FISA vote, now drilling for oil offshore, does Obama have any principles to offer or is he hollow?
He was never against offshore drilling, only in the reserved areas! There is millions of square footage in which we can off-shore drill! I disagree on his FISA but I understand the need to bring the courts in! Obama said he would be willing to *compromise* on offshore drilling if it meant getting something done on development of alternative fuels, etc. This indicates a willingness to make concessions to get something done, not flip flopping.
Reaching across the aisle?????????? The only reason he is for oil drilling now is because he knows he is on the wrong side of the issue and the people are demanding it! The guy flip flops whenever the polls change. He has no conviction.
Isn't it funny, the ';most liberal senator'; is reaching across the aisle to make a deal....
