Is your represenitive in washington blocking oil drilling in the u.s.?

if so, its time to kick him out. we need to start today and maybe in 2 or 3 years, we can start to get off foreign oil. it won't happen over night, but we need to start to send a message to the arabs and pigs like hugo chavez, that their day of gouge is coming to an end.Is your represenitive in washington blocking oil drilling in the u.s.?
What we need to do is drill here in the US and in doing this it will by us time to explore alternative fuel sources. The oil we have here in the US is not the answer to complete independence of foreign oil but as I said it could by us some time to be independent. Is your represenitive in washington blocking oil drilling in the u.s.?
Blocking? He'd better be. We don't need to burn up the last little bit of oil under our territory to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. We just need to stop using so damned much.
hope so.
If your representative is a Democrat the answer is yes.

The US has potential oil reserves in this country that if tapped would make us energy independent for 50 or more years.

A similar question was asked by the American people 25 years ago and if we had started drilling then the question would't need to be asked today..
No, Representative Joe Barton (R-Texas) favors drilling here and now. Senators Hutchinson and Cornyn (both R-Texas)also support favor drilling here and now.
