It is very dissapointing, just like it is dissapointing that most people dont know how important oil is. It is very dissapointing that most people dont realize that the only reason we have the technologies we have today is because of oil, humans didn't get smarter over the last 100+ years, humans just discovered an abundant form of energy. We have things that humans were never meant to have, that's all because of oil. Like it or not, that's the way it is.





We need to explore and discover new sources of energy, but as of now there is nothing that can replace oil, thus we cannot live with the luxeries we have without oil. So we might as will drill for as much of it as we can while we hopefully will look for new forms of energy. It is unfortunate that the democrats (and a few republicans) in our country are against doing anything that will actually help the situation.Americans: How outraged are you that China is slant drilling from Cuba stealing oil from under FL?
That should tell you something about our leaders not doing anything about it. Plus, where are your resources to back what you posted here? I really don't trust China at all. I also think that our leaders should stop relying on foreign oil and start drilling in Alaska. It is time for America to stop depending on foreign oil, or could I say oil that comes from Arab countries who are our enemies. I mean, aren't you people here tired of being puppets to these countries who are wanting to destroy America? You all should be concerned by now or are you all asleep?
It doesn't bother me at all that someone else is exploiting the earth's natural resources. It should have been the USA but we have a group of liberal loonies attempting to cloak themselves in some sort of perverted self righteousness and environmental concern, that will be the end of us and who has managed to stall a nation. In this case democracy has outdone its self.
Well, the guys in Beijing have to get some kind of pay-back for the thousands of bicycles they shipped to Havana in early 1992 when fuel supplies from Russia stopped after the death of the Soviet Union.
Its probably in retaliation for the well you have drilled from under the Empire State Building through to China's oil-fields.
