Just thinking, we are taking out all that oil out of the ground, I understand that it is miles underneath the surface and experts prabably say, it causes no harmful effects. But, every act has an equal and/or opposite reaction...what do you think?Does drilling and taking all that oil out of the ground cause earthquakes, tsunamis?
Taking oil out of the ground does not cause faults or earthquakes. Taking water out of the ground close to strike slip faults and letting the water sink into the ground has lubricated at least one fault enough that it did slip and create an earthquake.Does drilling and taking all that oil out of the ground cause earthquakes, tsunamis?
