Since they don't want to allow any domestic drilling for oil, why are Democrats upset about high oil prices?

Don't they have themselves to blame?Since they don't want to allow any domestic drilling for oil, why are Democrats upset about high oil prices?
Do you ever wonder why the media doesn't hammer them on that obvious contradiction in rationality?Since they don't want to allow any domestic drilling for oil, why are Democrats upset about high oil prices?
there is plenty of domestic drilling going on, texas tea, the alaska pipeline. ANWR is a nature preserve. so don't say ANY. With all this domestic drilling going on Exxon does not sell it's oil any cheaper than Citgo, in fact Venezuelas Citgo regularly keeps it's prices cheaper. Exxon is welcome to enter a bidding war with them, undercut Citgo, please I dare you, lets see how low they can go.

As for supply; Saudi Arabia for what it's worth says...they can meet any orders. You order oil they'll send you however many boatloads you want. There is no supply problem. The price is not about supply and demand. If two exxon valdeez's worth of oil fell on my lap from nowhere, i'd sell it for 4 bucks a gallon. That's the going rate. Don't expect anyless from any oil company, foriegn or domestic.
Because domestic oil will have a nominal impact and takes us away from the need for an energy policy. This is a great example too of the free market self correcting itself.

Also, quite frankly, even though it hurts the wallet I'm not complaining about the higher prices. It's driving a change in policy.
Well why don't you drill.............

well about a few decades down the road what are we going to do? You can drill more but I think it should ONLY be used when we are in dire need of oil. Afte rwe exhaust our supply we will be back to square one.

That is not solving anything. All it does it put things off for someone else.
They're actually LOVING the fact that the economy is being damaged by higher gas prices. It helps push their agenda.

You know, ';F'; the working class, we want to push wind and solar power.
Drive on biofuels risks oil price surge (2007)

No. Because domestic oil drilling wouldn't solve our problems either.

Didn't they teach you anything during class, or weren't you paying all that much attention?
I really believe we don't need to drill anymore in the US. I will pay extra for keeping drilling out of the USA.
Liberals do, don't confuse Blue Dogs with those scum.
