Does congress support drilling for oil in America?

researching the subject, do they support yes or no?Does congress support drilling for oil in America?
no... they support drilling in our pants.

...pockets! in our pants pockets.. you know, where people keep their wallets and suchDoes congress support drilling for oil in America?
Not the current congress.

They want to stop all oil drilling and production in the US.

Never mind the little fact that we have nothing to completely replace it right now.

They also seem to think that oil only runs cars. Sadly though, oil makes MANY of the products we use on a daily basis.

Make plastic without oil and tell me how it goes.

CK----

That is true, but most of that is not drillable or has no oil available.

I could say that you could drill on my dad's 300+ acre farm... That doesn't mean you are going to get oil out of the ground there.
Comrade Pelosi,Reid and Obama have no use for drilling in America, or else we would be drilling off the coast right now.

That is why we buy natural gas from the Soviet Union and the ship it to Mexico and then pump it in to California. Instead of drilling off California's coast.
As with every other issue that Congress addresses, it depends on whether there are votes to be gained. Generally, politicians stand only for power (their own).
68 million acres, yet big oil won't touch it.

If big oil wanted to drill in America, we would be drilling already.

Don't look at Congress for blame.
Absolutely not - Obama said during the campaign that he thought $5/gallon would be a good price for gas.
Not the liberal fascist majority Congress we have now.
Some do some don't.
The wrong party for drilling for US oil is in charge now.
Not unless they are going to get rich off of it.
no they are worried about the environment
no they're making too much money in their stocks with the offshore companies .
does it?
