Nancy P. thinks she's Queen of the Land...somebody needs to set her straight.Is Nancy Pelosi really going to allow a vote for offshore oil drilling?
She has taken what I would call a non-committal stance. She states that she would allow a vote, but only if it is part of a wider package with policies she approves of. The problem for Pelosi on this issue is that she under-estimated the public outcry for a vote on this legislation and is now having to backtrack. However, I wouldn't count on a vote being brought to the house floor. Based on her previous stances, I expect that she will stonewall and then claim the Republicans were not being unreasonable on the issue. Provided of course that the Republicans do not completely cave on everything she demands in return for the vote.

Beside Chin is drilling right of the cosat of cuba and they don't have envriometals rules. so she is going to allow a up or down vote by the states legislature if they want it or not.This is not russia yet they can't take our rights away that easy. oh and get rid of school can't get the kidsthere and all the things you use in school is made by oil or oil base, no more paints and no more food and no more trucking to bring all those nice things you like to use everyday.and More wars since we can't drill for our own oil we might as well bomb those that have it and take it away right?
the oil company's already own billions of acres of undrilled land. whats the logic of giving them more land for fresh drilling. when are the people gonna stop giving everything away to the oil companys?
She has no intention of letting drilling occur, she won't even let it come to a vote. The majority of the people in this country are for drilling so why does this woman think she can stop it. She needs to be gone.
She's on vacation, she'll let you know when her summer fun is over,
