Not that I don't think we have a moderately efficient drilling system here... but there isn't exactly a complex ecosystem to mess up over there.What kind of environmental damage has occurred in the middle east that was caused by drilling for oil?
Not much. There is to start not much wildlife to mess up there. But during the Gulf War when the Iraqies burned the oil fields they messed up the local ecosystem.
I don't mean to poke fun at the desert but...what environment?
There aren't lush jungles over there, it's dirt...not even vitamin rich dirt, it's sand.
Little to none, but, they have made one hell of a lot of money - our money.
